On Saturday I met with my Personal Trainer, Sharm from Kurup Fit, for the first time since before Christmas. I had done a few runs, yoga and wakeboarding over the holiday period, but nothing prepares you for strength training from Sharm!! We did a long warm up as it was cold and very windy, then straight into some training exercises with kettlebells. Sharm took me through some pretty tough circuits involving kettlebells, crunches, running and my nemesis – burpese! I had never worked with kettlebells before and I love them, you feel like you’re really being worked hard and getting stronger each time. The warm down is brilliant as we stretch everything out which feels great, my favourite part! 🙂
