The weather was absolutely rubbish last Sunday but it didn’t stop the girls having fun on the water!  Hove Lagoon hosted a FLOW girls day where the girls could test out windsurfing, SUP boarding and wakeboarding.  The mile SUP paddle race had to be cancelled due to strong winds as it was set to take place on the sea, we didn’t want anyone floating away!  I was there with Nalu Beads, unfortunately we couldn’t set up outside because the rain persisted all day, so we were tucked up in the cafe all warm and cozy surrounded by tea, cookies and bean bags!

          

          

          

Well done to all the girls who got involved despite the weather!

Tomorrow I’ll be at Wake Up Brighton for their Girls Day!!!  I’ll be holding a Nalu Bead workshop and you’ll even have the chance to get your hands on some of their newest designs!  I will also be coaching on the System 2 from 4-5pm.  See you there!! 🙂

There were stormy skies last Sunday for Ladies Morning, but as you can see it was glass 🙂 As usual there was a mixed bag of abilities, from very beginner to girls trying to master the corners, girls riding switch to trying spins off the wedge.  It was great to see everyone pushing themselves and there was always a constant stream of them walking, swimming or hitching a ride back to the dock.

          

          

Well done to all the girls who came out to play in the greyness!!  Well done to Delphine who won the Nalu Bead prize, to Alex who won the WakeMK prize and to Becky who won the Two Seasons prize!!!
