I love this time of year when I get the BEST deliveries turn up at my door!  Last week I received my new board, the Franchise FLX.  I got to ride it over the weekend and I can honestly say it was love at first sight.  

This year I’m riding the Franchise FLX 135cm.  Its been a few years since I’ve been on a flex board… and you know what?  I kinda like it.  Rails are much more what I’m into at the moment (I had a baby last year and so I’m focussing on staying closer to the water). 

When the delivery guy dropped off the board and I unwrapped it, it looked so much hotter in person than it did in print.  Its so beautiful with its mix of black n white graphics with light turquoise overtones with pops of florescent orange, its super chic. Its smooth and shiny and just feels great under your arm.  My Brighton System bindings look and feel great on the board as well making for a really responsive ride. 

So I took the board out for its maiden voyage on the park at Hannam’s.  I was frothing. You just know when a board is going to ride great… I had so much fun on it, hitting and spinning off everything.  Because its a flex board its great for pressing as well.  I did a few backrolls and it responded really well and I got all the height I needed. 

I will definitely be coming back for more when it comes to this board, I’m absolutely in love with it.  If you’re looking for a flex board, get involved with the Franchise FLX, it won’t disappoint.  Its hot, its sexy and it gives you just the right amount of flex you need.
