I N T E N S E

This week is pretty intense for me with so much going on…

On Thursday I have my final assessment for my Level 3 Wakeboard Coaching Course (that I’ve been working on for a year and a half!).  So I’m spending my week frantically tidying up my coursework.

Friday and Saturday are the British Cable Wakeboard Nationals down at JB Ski which are always nerve-racking but fun all rolled into one.

Sunday is the Plastic Playground qualifier comp (no ladies category here, riding with the guys!)

I’m going to need a large glass of red wine by Sunday evening… wish me luck!

So yesterday I got the chance to play bows and arrows!  I did this when I was little – my dad would help us make bows from a piece of tree branch and some string, and arrows from sticks that we would take time stripping off the bark.  But I’ve never even held a legit bow before.  The bow was a lot harder to use than I thought it would be, after a few rounds your arms are knackered.  I had loads of fun though and its addictive, you always want to better yourself.  I can’t wait to do it again!

Every time I turn my back, is straight on it when it comes to playing with my wakeboard… Honestly, every time its out, he’s fiddling or tweaking something on it with his baby tool set.  On thursday I was on the dock getting ready to ride when I had to dig out not one, not two, but three golf balls from the depths of my systems bindings.  I’m happy to say he’s obsessed with boards 🙂
