My favourite board is broken so this weekend I’ll be riding my husbands 5’10 Pod.  Its a super fun board; its a door – you can catch anything on it, so perfect for little waves!  It brings back some memories too as this is the board I dropped down to after I’d finished with my 7’2.  I got a fair amount of beatings on this as my first shorter board, but I also got one of my best waves on it down at Tonel, Sagres…  Might even get some footage on my lil MUVI Camera this time around.  Right, I’m off!  Coast here we come! 😀

…get here quicker!  Lau, Vix and I are off to the coast tomorrow evening for a weekend of baby free fun.  Woolacombe, please deliver!  We are praying you’ll welcome us with sunshine, great local cider and fun clean waves… 😀

Yesterday I was tired (Ethan was teething therefore a night of broken sleep), and so I didn’t really push myself.  I did today though which resulted a much better workout!  It helped that the sun was out and made it feel practically balmy, spring is in the air….
